I guess you could call this a hybrid recolor though when im done it will look nothing like the original but I did use the helm as a base the body was made from scratch not anywhere near done yet slowly but surely
look good⌠+1 karma
Noice!
Far too evil-looking for graal.
They can be used as castle guards. Their size led me to that.

Youâre far too evil-looking for graal!
He suffers from pillow shading, lack of contrast, and kirby-syndrome (no limbs, just hands & feet).
Looks awesome so far, Kirathâs head never did fit on the base baddy body.
walk down is finished and beholder all graal baddies suffers from âkirby syndromeâ the shading isnât pillow shaded its a metal surface so it would generally be shiny Iâll address the contrast issues in the final revision for now im working on the animation thanks for the comments
Lookinâ good
The arms look funny. AHHHHHHHHHH
I like meselfâŚ
Hey, sorry to stray off topic. But if you were putting images, like your body in graal, how do you know what colors graal will select as the transparencies?
I frequently run into problems where Graal decides to remove certain shades of white, or random black/purple color chunks from my images.

Better question; Why does the color orange not exist? Why is orange tan?

Do you mean like when making your own custom bodies?
If thatâs what you mean, itâs actually not the color. I believe it goes by the indexes on the imageâs color palette. Worst off, some graphics programs will rearrange the color palette when you save Graal bodies therefore causing problems when you use them after editing and saving. Paint Shop Pro was being particularly bitchy about this.
What you can do though is save your Graal body as a gif and then use gif2mng. It will create a png version of the gif where the color palette isnât fucked up. Use the png version and the body should work.
Personally I just use Paint Shop Pro, and make sure it saves with an unoptimized palette so the indexes donât switch around.

Actually, mng is not a plain png file. Just like GIF itâs a animated image file. GIF is restricted to 256 colors, MNG is not. So far Iâve only seen Graal that supports this filetype. Browsers shouldâve supported that filetype ages ago. Graal has since v1.41 or even earlier.
To avoid graal screwing with the transparency you need a program that sets the transparency to which ever color you wish additionally if you use the .png instead of gif your transparency problems will cease.

I love PSP, how do you do that?

And as far as from my experience, gif2mng makes a png file if the gif is non-animated.

When going to âsave asâ, under neath the âSaveâ and âCancelâ buttons, there is an âOptionsâ button
On the first page you see that pops up, you can save it as a non-interlaced image with an uncompressed palette

Thatâs pretty self-explainable.
