Guess what.

If you come from a country where most shit is either dubbed or subbed instead of making remakes of everything (hint U.S.A hint), you’re used to reading subtitles anyway. This doesn’t mean that I watch english shows subbed in swedish. But I do watch asian stuff with english subs.

I would prefer getting to know japanese properly to understand while watching. There’s so much lost in translation when shit are dubbed. If you download a subbed one, you can get explanations of wordplay and stuff like that, to know what the fuck is going on.

anime fails so hardcore

lol wtf is with that logic xD

But yeah even just the little bits and pieces of Japanese I have been picking up with just listening I’ve also been noticing a lot of the words are mistranslated.

p.s.
Clannad had the most horrible Voice Acting in English ever.

Swedish subs are horrible. If I have to have subs, due to not knowing the language, I’d rather have english subs.

This means you’ve never seen Fullmetal Alchemist…

I watched both series all the way through along with their movies. Not only was the art amazing, but I enjoyed the storyline very much as well. The character development was great, and they added in a lot of detail with every aspect of the series. It’s one of the only anime series that I’ve been able to get into.

Before I turned 15 or sometime during me being 15, there was a point at which I was forbidden from doing a lot of stuff including watching animu.

And at which point I also lost access to TV, movies, and radio due to random life circumstances aside from being forbidden from doing a bunch of stuff,

I watched uhh, Bleach I guess.
I think even then I realized it was dumb.

And whatever stuff came on TV sometimes, I remember Tenchi Muyo or whatever from when I was much younger. Probably shouldn’t have saw that.

I’ve seen FLCL all the way through on adult swim when I was younger too.
Anyhow, in retrospect, meh is my opinion on most of them I guess. I’m still no otaku or huge anime fan idk.
I barely like watching anything at all. Being away from TV and movies separated me from the urge to watch things.
Except that the animation budget spent on FLCL was pretty fun and also stick on eyebrows lol

Oh I was watching Azumanga Daioh, I thought that was fun. Yeah.

So, a few years later, my mom gets into anime, after she banned me from it.

So I saw Fullmetal Alchemist and Death Note all the way through. And the movies for both, cartoon and live action. I can’t say I was mega impressed with either of those either, but they were better choices to watch than what I had chosen previously, so props to mom. And it’s nice to get all the Death Note jokes now. And it was funny seeing Edward Elric traced on the front of a queso package.

So, these days, I’m more of a gay fanfiction guy and I barely even read that. I just like the art and porn. You all know that.

I did watch over 150+ episodes of Naruto from the start and I do intend to finish up the first series and start Shippuden, fillers and all.
My friend Josh wanted copies of it because he’s into Naruto and Street Fighter. Thought I’d oblige him and I was bored after obliging him so I spent three days on a Naruto watching binge since I was bored of tumblr and other things.

I guess it’s not as dumb as bleach and I laughed at most of the serious scenes because they were trying too hard holy jesus fuck lmfao

naruto you look kind of cool…

I am watching Persona 4 The Animation, since I played the entire game through in PCSX2.

And it’s cheesy in budget sometimes it feels like, while in other times it feels like they put a decent amount of work into it.
Oh and I’m watching it subbed, since I’m not sure there is any other way to watch it right now except subless but I don’t know any moonspeak.

It’s probably the first anime I’m really really enjoying since I enjoyed the game a lot and it mimics the game almost to a scary degree.
Like, even keeping up with character stats somewhat. lmfao

So there, I like P4 the animation. Now you know.

Oh but watching all the naruto gives me privilege to make naruto jokes with my friend lily now, like referring to sasuke as saucy-kun.
And that picture of Kakashi with lips.

Also it led me into the light to realize that Asuma is good bara. I’m not even into bara really but I make exceptions.
He can make out with Gumshoe from Phoenix Wright any day.

That’s sort of an animey game so you can count that into the animu pile of things I’ve been exposed to I guess.
In which case you could sorta count Disgaea which is just fabulously better than all of this and I would watch it all day.

i didn’t ask for this

That isn’t all there is to gllt I bet.

Underneath your mask is…

ANOTHER MASK!!

edit: Yeah FMA is an awesome anime, but it’s still not on the top of my Anime list. I did like it… when I was 12. I’ve moved on and discovered many awesome anime like Steins;gate, and Mirai Nikki and etc. Needless to say I don’t think anyone has a right to “judge” anime unless they have watched others. So (not to attack you Kondie,) I don’t think if you’ve only watched FMA you should say it’s the best anime.

It was just an opinion from my point of view. I’ve tried to get into other anime shows, but holy fuck are the good ones hard to find. I just really enjoyed the storyline and artwork as I stated before.

a few I have watched recently that I have liked were

Persona 4 the Animation (though, I had been waiting for that one forever, and I was/am a giant fanboy of P4…)
Mirai Nikki
Steins;gate
Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica (gotta love them Magical girl anime)
To aru Kagaku no Railgun
Soul Eater (you’d like that one if you liked FMA, it’s another of the extremely over popular anime)

I’ll be sure to check some of those out.

Why the fuck are you posting here? ANIME IS GARBAGE

Don’t make me weeaboo all over your ass. You don’t have to view the anime section, buddy. Friendship has it’s limits.

This is an easy solution. You’re no my friend. Stop posting here.

Hmm, Anime or Spooon…

this is the toughest choice of my life.

full metal queso tho

Fix’d :3
