I saw this earlier today and thought they were some pretty crazy deals: http://www.direct2drive.com/d2dturns5 , I’m sure most of them you can pirate but if you want to buy them for online play or something hard to beat $5/game plus they are adding more games each week to the deal.
Oh yeah, also if you guys are looking for another source of cheap games steam [ HL2 Platform Etc] usually has 50-75% sales on certain games every weekend. A few of the games listed now are a bit old but I decided to pickup Splinter Cell for $5, seeing as my old disc got scratched and broke .
I like torrents but… eh… not really always useful… I never can seem to get any upload credit lol… even when I seed for 4 months and the stupid torrent had tons of downloads… I had only got credit for around 300 megs of uploads on a 2 gig torrent…
made me cry lol…
I usually use phazeddl and megauploadforum if its not there than I look for it
I usually leave my torrents seeding untill I remember im still seeding…I seeded a 10 gig torrent once till I had a 6.0 ratio…never closed utorrent, never removed the torrent from the list, never stopped seeding…I cannot remember what torrent that is anymore.
Aye but the kicker is that its a virtual copy. >_>
Physical disks atleast let you think of it as your own property and not “something I paid for and downloaded off of the net” like some iTunes fanboy, which shall never have a physical momento should you ever forget the game and feel the urge to reinstall and replay it.
Apparently, new laws are in effect (or will be) that if the medium from which you purchase a digital copy of a product goes bankrupt, you no longer own rights to it.
So, if you buy a song from Napster and Napster disappears, your songs are now pirated. How’s that for some bullshit?
Just for clarity, it only applies to digital copies. So, if you have the disks, you’re fine.
