Just some old work

Though I might post some of my old levels. See what you guys think. I’ve posted a few of these on the graal online forums probably.

Feel free to comment or use any that interest you (graphics wise [down further])

Old horse race event from my server.

Bonus: Some graphics

lol “Over detailed pos”, hit the nail on the head with that one.
You can notice the gradual detailing increasing through the pictures.
I think its at a suitable level till picture 4 which is just a very ‘loud’ image.

Overall, good work, I’m sure I even seen some of this stuff before, probably from the official forums.

one of those honestly looks like a level ive seen on unholy nation

It’s probably UN inspired levels. Because I have the same feeling of the last pic. Overdetailed junk. Hurts the eyes badly

Very nice stuff

-.- over detailed levels… smells like UN

it can’t be…are some of these levels from Cynical?

Damn, some of those are sexay.

Not bad stuff :).

I use to work on UN so they probably got inspiration from me lol.

Yeh, I like over detailed levels, but I also love under detailed and more classic levels. I don’t tend to have a strict style in making levels.

Here’s some of my later stuff. Also these are on the official forums.

Some more off the official forums.

Would you consider working on the Graal Reborn PW with us? It has a more classic approach. Currently we’re looking for skilled LAT’s to make a complete overworld. NAT’s and GAT’s isn’t necessary just yet.

mmm, thats hot.
Also, I’m agreed with everyone that overdetailing kills brain cells.

Man I hate lava tiles lol

Lava and Ash makes for some evil looking levels.

You’re better off just using seteffect than using the lava-tiles.

first image IS SO CUTE! :open_mouth:

I dont know how to use seteffect

if(playerenters) seteffect 0,0,0,.8; // RED,GREEN,BLUE,ALPHA

But what I think Marlon means is setbackpal, only you’d need a palette compatable with your current tileset to do it.

no, not backpal. If you want to do a volcano inside, just do a regular dungeon/cave and add red seteffect on it that will tone up and down so it looks like it’s coming heatwaves.

EDIT:
You could also make it hurt 0.5 every 30 seconds if you don’t have equiped some special suit.
