I’m here to promote my server, known as Legend. It’s a remake of A Link to the Past. I’m currently in need of people who can copy levels off an emulator, and scripters.
If anyone’s interested I can be contacted on the server, which has a 90% up time, or through MSN which is in my profile here.
I got a pack that are exact to zelda’s. Made by a Alttp fanboy. But It looks like you already have that level-pack. Although his pack included a almost finished zelda original tileset. But I guess, you want a more up to date look?
EDIT:
found the packs:

Please pass this rigorous test:
[ ] I do not come from Era, Unholy Nation or N-Pulse
[ ] I know where all the tiles are by memory, I do not require predefined objects liberally.
;D
Other than that, welcome to Graal Reborn, lol
What’s wrong with requiring predefined objects? And why’s Stefan thanking Sarmie’s post? Is that one of those other useful traits of the famed Gani maker position? There’s only one tile I can’t find and it’s that stupid blackish tile that goes on caves and churches, I’ve had to copy and paste it from the last time I found it… Oh, and make it like Parallel Worlds!!!

You mean the off-black tile that’s in the middle of the green grass-based cave opening tiles? lol
Exactly, but I checked the tile index and found it, so now I know where it is!
int(index/16)*16, Index % 16!
[X] I do not come from Era, Unholy Nation or N-Pulse
[X] I know where all the tiles are by memory, I do not require predefined objects liberally.
I know the part of the tileset to look for tiles. Not sure if that counts, though.

I come from a server called Classic, actually I worked there until 2 months ago.

You’d need some pretty hot-shot scripting to add in all the Beamos statues, spike beds, spike balls, flying floor tiles, and anti-sword fireball shooting statues that occupy more than half the levels in Parallel Worlds.
…Well, unless you’re talking about the overworld, which isn’t actually all that brutal or vindictive. As far as I know, though, there’s no rom hacking tool you can use to get a good look at each screen, since it’s changed just enough from the original game to break Hyrule Magic.

Gah, lots of tiling errors.

You got that right, Legend of Zelda isn’t the only game with loads of tile errors. I think FF3 & FF5 had quite a few.
im not really a classic fan, more of a custom.
What do you mean “custom”? Say what you mean, kid. You like MODERN servers. GUNS AND CARS!! You know? The type of stuff that helped ruin Graal.

Lol, you could think they would spend more time on correcting those things if they got paid. They might just be lazy because it’s only showing one level at the time anyway.
The overworld design in A Link to the Past takes plenty of shortcuts. To save space in the rom, it’s built from pre-defined blocks about 4x4 tiles in size, and they didn’t really bother to sync up the level borders in places where there was no chance you could scroll past them.
Once you understand this you’ll be able to appreciate the overworld as a work of art. (And by comparison, the Parallel Worlds overworld as a work of mad genius.)
