I’m with Beholder on this. My main beef with Toriyama is that all his adult male characters (and some females) have the same face. Now, while Miyazaki is guilty of this, too; at least his characters don’t look pissed off with long noses. lol

For movie, Ninja Scroll is pretty bad. Maybe even Fist of The North Star.
But, for series, it’s Higurashi no Naku Koro ni. Hands down.

If you want something only an insane person would watch and something that also got canned within 4~10 episodes, Puni Puni Peomi is probably up your alley (same guys as Excel Saga)
