I was messing around trying to duplicate attributes of Zelda gameplay that was left out with Graal, and started making a simple ‘pit falling’ script(get too close to an edge and you fall).
Afterwards I thought I’d test out its full capability by making a maze. The scripting itself is probably pretty damn bad, but I just ran with the idea in my head. I wanted it to work independent of outside resources so it just uses Graal’s default tileset and gani’s and such.
The jumping was a last minute addition just to add a little variety to the maze itself, so its was shoddily put together and integrated. Feel free to rip anything apart for your own use

That’s exactly the problem I figured as well, Graal just doesn’t have the appropriate sprites to make a decent looking fall gani. I might fool around with that though.

Heh, thanks for pointing that out. I’m not terribly concerned though, I just don’t want it as obvious as reading my name next to my posts. I couldn’t care less otherwise.
Nice to see you around here. And nice done. It would be nice to actually see a gani/script that actually imitates the falling from Zelda though. I don’t know if it’s possible because I’m not that good at scripting.
Small update: added sword swinging with the jumping… so I in turn, added bushes to the hell that is the obstacle course Yes, it’s evil. I’ve yet to beat this one yet.
