Everything in my list is complete unless currently still airing. Then, in that case, I keep up on episodes. I’ve got a 1TB HDD that’s about 39GB from being full. =D

I got a friend addicted to Slayers and he bought a few videos.
That’s the closest I’ve been to “owning an anime” lol. Everything else I stream, spent the past 2 days re-watching the 26 episodes of Ghost in the Shell (1st Gig). Which you do not have

I preferred the movies. Stand-Alone Complex didn’t really do it, for me. I generally don’t stream due to lack of quality and I’m a fanatic for dual-audio. When I move to South Carolina, here in August, I plan to start an “anime club” of sorts. And I don’t have everything I’d like to have. Once that 1TB fills, I’m stuck. But, after I move, I plan to RAID 3 1.5TB HDD’s and leave only about 500GB of that for games. So, I’ll have 4TB for anime. And I guarantee I can fill it. lol

$74 on NewEgg.

I’d go for 2TB’s, but apparently you can’t RAID those, yet. I’ve found nothing that says 1.5TB’s can’t, so I’m just gonna cross my fingers.

If I have to, I’ll just use Windows to stripe them and then make a 500GB partition.

Hardly worth going to rehab over. It’s called a collection. Many people have them.

Yeah it’s mostly ongoing because my complete series are archived on DVDs, not the best place for them as far as data loss is concerned but hey if I ever lose them it’s just a re-download away.

I paid for a membership to www.animedownload.us when they had some special on, $50 for 25 years lol so i’ll be a member there until the site shuts down.

Eden of The East is my main series at the moment (along with bleach), it’s freakin cool

Also, why raid your drives? Seems kinda silly to me, just keep them separate. They’re 1.5tb each after all.

Ikkitousen is like straight animated porn. I felt guilty watching it, like I should have 1 hand on alt+f4 just incase, and the other on a box of kleenex.

That way, everything can be stuffed on a single 4TB partition. It’s more convenient to locate everything. I have a shitty media center computer that’s running XMBC that I use to watch my stuff out on my TV. Having everything on one drive makes that a little easier, too. I don’t wanna be like, “Which drive was that one on?” and stuff.

XBMC lets you add multiple paths for one entry in the list, it’s the only media center software i’ve found that lets you!

For example my Anime is:

        <source>
            <name>Anime</name>
            <path>smb://Agret:[email protected]/G$/Anime/</path>
            <path>smb://Agret:[email protected]/H$/Anime/</path>
            <path>smb://Agret:[email protected]/O$/Anime/</path>
            <path>smb://Agret:[email protected]/C$/Andrew/Anime/</path>
            <path>smb://Agret:[email protected]/Volume_1/Andrew/Anime/</path>
            <path>smb://Agret:[email protected]/share/video/Andrew/Anime/</path>
        </source>

And when you are using XBMC it just shows up as ‘Anime’, when you go in it just merges all the sources as if they were one folder.

If one of the computers/network drives is turned off it’ll just say “Network path unavailable” in a message box,
just hit OK and the rest of your content still shows as normal
