I never played a real game until I was 6 or 7. We had a Korean exchange student and he put a SNES emulator on our computer (now infected with viruses). The first game I ever played was Super Mario Bros, I thought Goombas were seals 0_0. The exchange student threatened to punch me if I continued to call them that. To this day I still like Mario games and I have all the old ones on my iPod to play

My first console was the Sega Master system I or w/e the 8 bit one? got that about 1 year before the N64 came out. It was stolen about 2 months after we got it, but we got an insurance payout and never replaced it. Ended up getting a N64 secondhand and have had it since.
Never owned my own NES couldn’t afford it. Always played it at friends places.
I now own 4 SNES systems and an Atari Lynx. 1 US SNEs, 2 European (one I custom painted as it was yellow as a brit’s teeth) and a Super Famicom.

Was playing NES back when I was 3, but we also had an Atari and Commodore 64(in fact, we used the Commodore monitor to play the NES).
Gameplay > graphics, but good graphics never hurt anyone… bad graphics can however!
SNES, GBC, N64, GBA, GC, PS2, DS Phat, DS Lite, Wii in that order

Played NES but never owned it, gave up DS phat and hawked DS Lite, Wii’s dvd drive exploded and the motherboard sizzled and spat smoke so it’s out of commish for now, GBA needs a new screen so I need a 3DS with a nice flashcard tbh
Still want a PSP, a 360, and a 3DS. Yeup.

I don’t know how old YOU are but I am 15 and I did the same thing. I could’ve been playing PS2 or something but I sticked with good ol’ NES. Gameplay is a must graphics come next with me too 
I have yet to play 13
