Greatest pixel art you've ever seen?

Came across these today, blew me away

Well now that you’ve started a rhyme, we can ALL have a great time. Yes, I agree, those are quite spiffy.

Those are made by people with TOO much time :expressionless:

Or too much talent.

A mixture of both perhaps?

No, you’d be surprised how much a talented person can lob off hours from a piece.

I think you should listen to shiny saying hes a talented pixel artest himself.

Stop brown nosing Caleb, if I haven’t figured out he is an extremely good spriter/graphic maker then I am one stupid person.

The first one has amazingly smooth animation, but the second one is meh. It works, especially for a game, but as far as pixel animation goes? It’s just a bunch of parts that are rotated around to achieve animation.

There’s way too much amazing pixel art out there to ever have a “greatest.”

How many of you just watched that 10 times…?

I think it was just you…
Yes, I agree, those are quite spiffy.
Mmhm.

That first one is very smooth. I like it. The second one has a lot of movement, but it looks a bit weird. Adding some anti-aliasing would make it a lot better.

While thats good, that stuff takes way too long. Unless the graphics have a continual use then its worth drawing them but those are made by people wih too much time lol. Still… Nice work there

I thought we went over this already

What amazes me, is how they got everything in that image to loop properly

His more recent piece is much more impressive as far as animation goes:

There is a bush monster humping that building of combustion.
…And a priest trying to ask a drunken man to go out with him.

This is one of my most favorite pieces ever:

Also, nearly anything Fool does, but a few stand out:

Yeah the dragon one is still a favourite.
