Max size of image on graal level?

How large images can be used?

as big as you want, just make sure it as an 8bit png and remember bigger the image longer the load time

There was a filesize limitation I remember seeing that somewhere around here… it was quite big.

As in made with mp3s in mind; which are way heavier than images.

Here’s the thread I was looking for. Bug is resolved but it has the info.

It seems files over 64kb will sometimes cause a disconnection from the client… and that even 16 mb isn’t too large of a file when disconnection doesn’t occur.

Other than that, I don’t know of a pixel size restriction but it’s certainly bigger than you need.

Yeah, this shouldn’t be an issue anymore, if your server is running a copy of the server that uses the relevant code changes, at least.

Oh ok, I had 60kb image. It doesnt show up on graal editor for some reason, but works fine in the server.

Try deleting your FILENAMECACHE.txt and then re-connecting to your server. That should correctly cache the images locally so that you can use them in the editor. If that doesn’t work I’d hazard a guess that due to the fact the editor hasn’t been updated since the stone ages, it doesn’t support as large images as clients. I’m too lazy to actually test any of this though so it’s just a theory.

A GAME THEORY!
