M. Night Shyamalan’s The Last Airbender
The Last Airbender is an upcoming 2010[1] Action, adventure-fantasy film based on the first season of the highly successful animated television series, Avatar: The Last Airbender. It is a live-action film adaptation of the animated television series produced by Paramount Pictures and Nickelodeon Movies.[2] It is planned to be the first film in the The Last Airbender trilogy. The series, influenced by Asian art, mythology and various martial arts fighting styles, was created by Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko, and was adapted by M. Night Shyamalan, who will also direct and produce the film along with Frank Marshall, Kathleen Kennedy, Sam Mercer and Scott Aversano. Filming began in mid-March 2009; the movie is scheduled to be released on July 2, 2010.[3][4]

I want to see it, regardless of whether it gets panned or not. I was REALLY surprised at how well the choreography of Aang turned out in the first trailor when he was airbending with all the candles around.

Does look quite good from what I have seen also. I enjoyed the series of it as it’s not like some of these other animated kids shows with their P.C bullshit. e.g the new Transformers cartoon.

I’m excited for it, A:TLAB is a great story, and all the characters casted look great.

Plus, Manight Shyamalan has never let me down.
