NPC Graphic Not Showing

I wasn’t sure if this should be NPC or Graphic forums, so I posted in NPC.

Basically, I’ve designed my own NPC graphic for a house, however, it doesn’t show up when I try and use it. It’s been a LONG time since I’ve done anything in Graal’s editor, and I could be just missing something simple. :bang:

Also, my apologies if this has been asked and exists as another topic.

its probably not 256 colours, save it as a gif, if you want transparencies make sure you set them, then run it through gif2mng which is in your graal folder, tada you should be able to see it now!, also there was a tutorial which showed how to do this in paint.net or something, I cant find it though soz

Stop using gifs, use 8-BIT .pngs. Get paint.net to save them as 8-BIT Pngs. God fucking damnit.

yeah look you save as .Gif then run through gif2mng and automaticly becomes png.Get your facts streight before swearing at someone damn.

Most people don’t even know what GIF2MNG.exe does. They double click it and it doesn’t do anything, so they ignore it.

Yenairo said one why to do it, the better way to do it I might add.

Using GIF2MNG is another way, although I don’t recommend it.

just so people who dont know know, you drag a gif file into gif2mng and it will spit out either a mng or a png depending wether it was animated or not

Thanks guys. I saved it as a PNG originally, but in Photoshop so I assume it was too high quality? :stuck_out_tongue: I’ll do that when I get home. whisperI’m at work lol Im such a rebel

BTW, In Photoshop goto Mode >> Indexed and save, it’s like 8-Bit PNG.
I think that might be right, I’ve been using Paint.Net too much
