there are 649 pokemon now,too many for me i think
but i play black version (of course) and its fun as hell

I’ll probably play it when it gets released in the states… but Pokemon needs a huge revamp. I really like the new graphics, I do… but in the end they’re still just graphics. The gameplay is largely the same with not much in terms of a dramatic game. I mean, why do we still needs to drag around an HM slave? Why are we still limited to 4 moves at a time(unless you go through the troublesome methods to relearn/forget moves). Why can HM’s STILL not be taught over, for that matter? Why is it ALWAYS exactly 8 gym leaders? Why is the battles still so primitive.
DAMMIT, WE NEED A REAL-TIME POKEMON RPG. You know, where you’re actually involved in a battle… you can move around. Hell, we need a 3D pokemon game. You know what’d be really awesome? A Pokemon MMO… of course that won’t happen because the Wii just wouldn’t be able to do it, but the franchise needs to do something drastic for a change.
as much as those ideas sound cool, its not pokemon when you put them in place, pokemon cant change too dramatically, like the graphics for one; they’re still 2d but they move, its perfect, its nostalgic yet new, anything more would look really shitter on the DS
4 moves per poke is like mathematically perfectly sound and should never change, else it will fuck everything up
i agree with the gym leader thing, its old now, that they can and should change for sure
in this one, atleast hm’s are infinite use, but they do need to streamline their use more

the pokemon mmo wont happen for money reasons, pokemon is the #1 game for nintendo handhelds, you make an mmo, no one gives a shit about the handhelds anymore, console pokemon will probabaly always be colliseum esque, or ‘XD’ at the most, ya know, an rpg, but its not what you wanted in terms of freedom
all in all, drastic doesnt work on the DS, lets wait for the pokemon game on the 3DS

pc emulated versions of pokemon for ds are aweful, no good emulators about that actually work :\ i played black version and while its heaps cool its so laggy it gives me shits and I quit

well my computer has a 2.27 ghz intel quad core,4gb ddr3 ram and 1gb graphics card and it lags. Its truly terrible all those emulators ive tried x_x

why hasn’t a pokemon mmo been created yet anyway? sounds like it’d do ok… monthly subscription fee, sounds profitable…

Bullshit. People clinging to these primitive games are just scared of change. That includes the developers. No one remembers pokemon as, “That one game that always needs to be exactly the same every generation.” Majora’s Mask drastically changed the concept of Zelda but damn, that was an awesome game and most people loved it as well.

LOL WHAT? Mathmatically perfect? What does that even MEAN? How will it fuck up? Also, I never said we should use more than 4 moves in battle. What would I like to see? The ability for Pokemon to learn moves, and being able to switch the 4 moves when you’re not in a battle.

Not really… Where do you get these ideas from? MMO’s and RPG’s play completely different. Just because someone plays WoW doesn’t mean they’ll never wanna play Final Fantasy again. They fulfill two completely different urges of gameplay.

The whole reason I found out about Graal was because I was trying to find a Pokemon or Zelda MMO version. O_O
I got a copy of Pokemon Black for nds, ran it on my no$gba lastest version, it ran rather well, fast…though even though it came with a translation patch the patch didnt work…ill wait for it to be released in da united states…
