Regulations?

We don’t even need this thread anymore.

Agreed with Agret on the GFX part. Though I think it should only be applied to classic styled servers rather than ones that took their time to make their own images.

While most of the staff is still on imma ask if anyone has a problem with any of the Ruglations that i have posted in PWA RULES AND REGULATIONS ?

Think you should be asking more than just the staff if they agree on the rules, you crazy dictator you :stuck_out_tongue:

I do, seeing as the players are who this will affect the most. However, at the same time i would like for this group to have support from the staff. I put this thread here in the hopes that something good will come out of it, so far i have only gotten to see the ideas of the pwa members as well as a few of the staff. So, once again if anyone has a problem with the rules and regulations i have suggested then please speak up…

Shouldn’t completed servers be gold, very good development servers silver, and then the rest that haven’t registered their servers or are even on the ball as bronze?

I miss seeing all the servers in bronze as to where I could go and explore them. I can still explore some of the servers, but you have to either check the server list here on the forum or use the RC tool to see an entire list.

How about the only ones that don’t appear on bronze be the “staff only” servers.
This type of ranking would make far more sense to me … I believe this is how the old ranking went besides hiding staff only worlds.

::Nothing to do with the rules and regulations, but it does have something to do with the new ranking.::

Yeah I think unregistered servers should showup still, although on the up side it stops the list being spammed up. I’ll have to register my NPC server test so people can come on again lol when I was testing I had a playercount of 8 I was like wtf I didn’t even want anyone on here

lol Nice Agret, but if you keep all the unregistered/under developed servers in Bronze, it really isn’t that bad of spam.

Also on another note, there should be a sub-forum complaints thread in this section.
One other thing, why is there a PWA world? I mean I semi-get the idea of quick help, but is it really needed? Everyone, and I do mean everyone, has forum access as well as your emails (Besides Various) from your contact thread.

I think if you want help, you should have to go to the forum. We even have a development section for everything! lol
This could help prove some competence.

The regulations for the server tabs really hasn’t gone past the talking about it stage, so anything you want to suggest go for it. The reason i wanted a PWA is for there a group of people that would be there to help players learn to develop their own content, without having to make requests for things then be mocked by the entire forums.

True and I can entirely agree with the mocking thing.

::To Admins::
So why not move the development section into the PWA section or at least give PWA’s the moderator rights to the section so they can forcefully remove the trolls? Moving the forum at least makes sense since you PWA’s are offering to help when asked for it.

… Now go make my gani I requested. lol Oops, I forgot please.

:stuck_out_tongue: we offer to help/teach you, not go and make the thing itself

Actually teaching is completely useless when we may need help editing … By the way, re-read the Rules and Regs. It says nothing about helping to “create” a request. Which I entirely fill you should do within reasoning. Not create a whole new PW for a player upon their requests, but you get the idea. Otherwise what’s the point in being a “helper”?

I could ask for “help” on making a wall tile … are you going to throw me some retarded pixelating guides? lol
Seriously though, “help” me make that gani.

Edit: No insults intended.

Good point, I will go and add clarifications to the regulations to accommodate that idea. It makes sense that sometimes giving the thing requested is a vital key to helping/teaching.

Thanks Urza, you can teach the “means” to some people, but they can’t always pull it off.
Like trying to teach me to gani, I already know it, been taught it, but I just can’t do it.

As for the gani, I lack the ability to make it as well and would suggest you talk to our members who are more skilled in the world of graphics/gani-making. That would be Stowen and maybe Klazor.

::Appended to the Rules and Regulations::
–PWA members are to try to complete any request given to them unless the request could be considered “over the top”
–On completion of a request PWA members are to help the person who made the request understand how the final product was made to the best of their abilities

I think any server that is visible on the list should have to not be a shitbox. I think any is allowed a server, but to be on the main lists it should have to meet some specifications ruled out by the PWA. That was it’s like new people join and they don’t see some shitbox shit leveled hogswash server with a high playercount only because there’s a noob team running it and they all like to be on player and RC to make it look popular and thus ruining GR’s reputation?

Also I do gani’s quite well and graphics. What’s the question?

But at the same time if we havve regulations that are too strict we end up looking like GO. After all the point of Reborn is to be a more free community than that of Graal Online.

as for the gani question, it is at:

Also as for the shitbox thing, that’s basically what I was talking about. People who aren’t on the ball or have it set to staff only shouldn’t appear in the list.

Bronze should be for people who have registered, but really have no goal.
Silver should be for people with a set goal and mind and are appealing to people.
Gold should be for fully completed servers or ones that can be played for quite some time without running out of things to do. Also if you keep the PWA, you should add it in the gold tab though I would suggest removing the “world” itself.

I like how it is now (serverlist). It puts more players on the servers that can keep a playercount.

not really allu see r staff only servers and a billion servers doing nothing at all, haveing a pwa will help keep the servers that r doing somthing alive and have player counts on them as well.
