I’ve only had my eyes on the Gundam series and the SRW series. Never seemed to drift off from those two. Everything else is, bleh.

Loved Zoids Zero. Don’t watch anime much, but I recall hating Chaotic Century and GF. Only saw a couple episodes of Gundam somethingorother, and it seemed okay.

Other than that, I recognize a couple names, but that’s all.

btw for people that are interested in SRW series try the games =p
there are alot of them. 2 kinds to be precise OG Series of Robots
and Animé ones which concludes series like gaogaigar shin getter mazinger and all those randomness (Even Zoids recently)
there are tons of series already done in different games
the recently who was done are godannar, Legend of daiku maryu, gun x sword (i gotta love that anime lol)

Sousei no Aquarion would have been much better if the main character didn’t have the common sense of a dog. As well, every event in the episode occured the EXACT SAME ORDER.

  1. 10 minutes of character development. (If you wanna call it that)
  2. 5 minutes of CG mecha fighting.
  3. Protagonists lose.
  4. They have some revelation.
  5. They proceed to kick ass accompanied by the opening theme.
  6. They win.
  7. Somebody says, “I told you so.”
  8. Credits roll.
