Sarcasm. That’s my final answer. I do wish to look at these though. My NPC scripting has been lacking for like 7+ years, haha.
I think this is a great idea. The servers that obviously put forth effort into learning from these scripts will rise up. Great idea.

Even though some people may flat out rip that stuff off I always feel the benefits of releasing everything always outweigh that negative.
People that don’t just rip them off can learn how the scripts work, modify them into other unique things and improve upon them. I can’t thank you guys enough for making and releasing these high quality robust scripts and graphics.
What’s going to happen is noobs are going to try using the scripts as they are, not get them to work how they want, and beg for someone on here to do it for them. Same thing happens with stuff in the Script Showcase.

Script showcase is going alright when stuff is going on there; stop being negative for the sake of it.
I’m terribly positive when I say I positively don’t think Spooon is truly capable of positivity.
If you look at the first page of the NPC section, there are plenty of queries for getting scripts to work that are obviously stolen.

I’m assuming you’ve never tried learning gscript by yourself, at least as a first language.
Most if not all programmation autodidacts learn through ‘‘stealing’’ and modifying code they found elsewhere.
That ‘‘stealing trend’’ on the scripting forum is just common practice and shouldn’t be discouraged. ‘‘A script I did’’ for a newbie programmer has a different meaning than for a more experienced programmer. For a newbie it will generally mean ‘‘some other script I’m trying to customize’’. We should encourage customization of already made scripts because it is a popular way of learning to program and will also probably be the only way most devellopers(notice I didn’t write programmer) here will program. If anyone becomes interested enough in programming, that person will learn by himself how much more pride one gets from something written from scratch.
