Too much to get into but here’s the watered-down version;
What you see is someone playing as a infected called a ‘Tank’. Which is the strongest among all the other infected, moves a bit slow but has strong physical strength, able to throw rocks and hit cars into you.
Their playing a mutation called ‘TAAAANNKK’ where you play as the survivors and the infected. In this mutation, four people can play as a tank at once and need to kill the other four survivors before they make it to the end of the stage.

Sounds impossible to win.
TAAAAAANK is actually, from my experience, heavily in favor of the survivors. The whole infected team(it’s versus, so there’s no bots) are tanks. However, the survivors get a head start and tanks are spawned behind them. So any team who actually knows the level layout will easily be able to outrun the tanks as long as common infected(regular zombies) don’t swarm you too bad. When I played it it was nearly impossible to catch up to the survivors
