Actually it was sped up by atleast 10x after Dangerless made the video.
Also depends on the User’s CPU and how far they’re calculating.

For an RTS, its slow (they partition the map to speed it up), but something small scale like Ragnarok Online? They limit the steps away from a player to about, 15;
So its always instant and you don’t have to calculate a path that will be “87 steps” long. The longer the path, the exponentially slower it can get, especially if its more complex.
