I have a proposal for a server that would be easy to make and fun to play and I am dead serious we made a parody or Era “Hill Billy Online” set in the deep south with a relatively small over world consisting of a trailer park and some farms.
We could use the default bodies I’ll make some graphics for the double-wide trailers, moonshine, outhouses, and hillbilly heads. Upon entering the server you would be tasked with joining a faction the Hatfields or the Mcoys who have been at odds for the better pat of the 20th century.
The entire focus on the game play would be pking so we don’t have to make quests and shit just lots of weapons and mindless violence there won’t be any use for cars except broken down ones but I can make some tractors and lawn mowers for players to drive around in as they blast the hell out of each other.
Some ranged weapons a sawed off shotgun, a six shooter, an assault rifle, TNT sticks etc
Some melee weapons that come to mind are a rolling pin, a chainsaw, a frying pan, and a banjo that shows music notes over peoples heads when you bash them with it.
I can see it all now it would be so great I can find some corny banjo music and we could have like a library and a dentists office but you couldn’t go inside of them because they are closed indefinitely and instead of picking up rocks and bushes it would be cinder blocks and trashcans if anyone wants to make this happen let me know we will be on the gold server tab =)
LOL I like this idea. We should do this. I could do the levels, Riley could make the gfx, and the scripts aren’t hard so I’m sure tric or I would take them (yay volunteering tric)

Lets make this happen. It can be accomplished pretty quickly using the blast the hell out of other players with guns and whacky weapons formula it will take allot less time to make than what I am currently trying to do and give me some experience throwing together a server.

I’m thinking we could have all the wireframe shit done (what I mean by that is all the rusty systems, levels planned out, etc) in a month! I definitely see this as possible.
I’ll finish my tiles and upload onto a server so we can start on the over world shouldn’t take too much longer I work 2 more overnights and get the weekend 2 weeks and basic graphics should be done enough to make levels
If I do invest in making a server, I’m going to make a 100 trials, similar to some other games but notably paper mario in my ideal.
Namely, because I can just make 100~ screens going in one direction and every ten of them are a break with a prize
all progressively getting harder to clear
Mostly battles, small mix of puzzle in order to make some enemies harder
One will be called the Stefan Pit of 100 Trials, and the other one will be called the Unixmad Pit of 100 Trials?
