Says account suspended when trying to access it. :{
:’(
This is due to a frivilous/fraudulant complaint from “someone” unsure of the details right now. I will be contacting the hosting company to either resolve and restore this issue or get a refund from them. I will provide an update on this when I know more.
I think it’s hilarious that you’ve had so many problems with it. Someone is butthurt. I can’t imagine who.
Hope it gets resolved, this site is a great reference for me in learning to script.
Apparently I am now getting that it’s due to a “technical issue” which is even more weird since I have no scripts of my own to be exploited there. I did have a phpbb a few years ago but removed it since it only attracted spam. I find the whole thing strange as nobody contacted me about this prior to the “suspension” and the site had been up without issue since 2012. I am a loyal paying customer of the service I had been using.
0.o Sounds shady…
If it’s a technical issue why would the account be “suspended”?
Sounds like somethings going on under-the-table…
There are only 3 possible people I know of at this point who could be butthurt over it if it was due to a complaint. In any case it’s a frivolous complaint if it was due to one. It has painstakingly withstood the test of time and I take great care to see that everything on there is legal.
Thanks, I had been working on updating the page and adding references and scripts and things to it amongst many other things. One way or another the site will be back. I may also just copy and paste stuff into a thread in here. believe it or not the graal.net wiki has some good resources on NPC scripting.
I’ll take a better look at the wiki, been looking for better explanations on some of the commands listed in commands.rtf. Your collection still provides alot of examples that I’ve been unable to find anywhere else, and my internets too unstable to download the Graal DVD collection right now.
Hello,
We have received abuse compliant against your site. I am attaching the same below
==============
Dear Abuse Team,
My name is Stephane Portha and I am the CEO of TOONSLAB LTD, a company providing Multiplayer games on Internet.
A website that your company hosts (according to WHOIS information) is infringing on at least one copyright owned by my company.
Copyrighted softwares from TOONSLAB LTD are made available from the web site: http://nekoroy.com
The unauthorized and infringing copy can be found at:
http://nekoroy.com/graal/downloads.html
http://nekoroy.com/graal/levels.html
http://nekoroy.com/graal/files/graal_reborn.7z
This letter is official notification under Section 512© of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (?DMCA?), and I seek the removal of the aforementioned infringing material from your servers. I request that you immediately notify the infringer of this notice and inform them of their duty to remove the infringing material immediately, and notify them to cease any further posting of infringing material to your server in the future.
Please also be advised that law requires you, as a service provider, to remove or disable access to the infringing materials upon receiving this notice. Under US law a service provider, such as yourself, enjoys immunity from a copyright lawsuit provided that you act with deliberate speed to investigate and rectify ongoing copyright infringement. If service providers do not investigate and remove or disable the infringing material this immunity is lost. Therefore, in order for you to remain immune from a copyright infringement action you will need to investigate and ultimately remove or otherwise disable the infringing material from your servers with all due speed should the direct infringer, your client, not comply immediately.
I am providing this notice in good faith and with the reasonable belief that rights my company owns are being infringed. Under penalty of perjury I certify that the information contained in the notification is both true and accurate, and I have the authority to act on behalf of the owner of the copyright(s) involved.
Should you wish to discuss this with me please contact me directly.
My response is
I am legally and officially refuting the legitimacy of
Stephane Portha’s DMCA complaint. I am demanding Stephane Portha and
“ToonSlab” provide proof of copyright. Stephane Portha and ToonSlab is
a known scammer company evading tax fraud in Mauritius and has scammed
his former partner Stefan Knorr. 1. The content being claimed does not
belong to Stephane Portha or ToonSlab but rather to Stefan Knorr and
the company iAppBeats. 2. The content on my website falls under Fair
Use under 17 USC 107 and does not violate copyright. 3. It is all
freeware and abandonware content made by other people.
Further more even if I wanted to remove any of the material which I
won’t. I cannot as I am locked out of my account.
The acceptable resolutions are to either restore my account as is or
refund my payment source for services and allow me to move my domain
elsewhere.
:[ They caved in and simply took his word…
and it’s back.
If Stephane wants to try shutting down my site he can come out of hiding in Mauritius, come to the U.S. and sue me personally if he was dumb enough to do so I would file counter-suits, anti-slapp, and DMCA abuse filings against him. Stefan Knorr, Stowen, Mark Karpeles, and Chris Malmquist are also waiting for him to leave Mauritius. As is France Police and United States IRS.
He’ll get what’s coming to him one day. Graal is already in shambles anyway, at least from what I can see from the PC servers that are still around. I don’t see why he even bothered with his complaint.

He’s done this to many people many times. I am however curious as to why it only worked now since the site has been up since 2012 and no doubt has had several frivilous complaints sent to it that I have never heard of. Last time I checked the company required proof of copyright physically sent to them on paper under oath. Also take note how out of all the things on that site it was the graal_reborn clients file and the levels which were made by 3rd party players that he mentioned in the complaint.
It’s unfortunately pretty standard practice for most web hosts to do so by default but since it is a paid hosting service in the U.S. that I paid real money for and have a direct contract with I have legal recourse to either have my content kept up and take direct responsibility or to be refunded and transfer my domain elsewhere.
I have also been speaking to Stefan about things recently and I am sure he would be happy to provide evidence that the Graal clients were made by him and the levels were player made and Stephane made nothing and has rights to nothing other than the domain name graalonline.com and toonslab which he is squatting on.

technically the clients are property of stephane portha’s company (whatever his latest and greatest corporation is called)… but levels, npcs etc. should always be fine.
Graal Reborn is pretty much a place for Private Servers to exist, which is common amongst alot of online games. With the state that legit Graal is currently in (Delteria being the only server with any notable activity), he’s probably just desperate…
I’ve had a few oddly named accounts pop up on my server, completely ignoring me, run around seeing what I’ve got so far, then disappear without so much as a “Hi”.
I wouldn’t be surprised if it was him spying, hopefully I’m just being paranoid.

Got that a lot too on my server back when I had one.
“We have received abuse compliant against your site. I am attaching the same below” Obviously foreign. Maybe someone new to the hosting company and they got scared. He did write a convincing email for someone not knowledgeable enough about the laws. I’m certainly not, and wouldn’t have known what to do in that situation.
Yeah, I wouldn’t blame the employee, they were probably doing their job as best they knew how.
Stephane’s just a small corporate tyrant scumbag that thinks he’s in the big leagues…
