Reason why the listserver went down was because I updated the server to latest ubuntu, should make it so it starts on startup or something.
init scripts are fun
You don’t really have to restart à server after an upgrade unless it’s about some major sexurity flaw in the kernel. Restarting the upgraded services is only needed. Unnecessary downtime is unnecessary.
Was from ubuntu 11.10 to 12.04. No idea about the details of it.

So, has anybody been testing the latest gserver revision with the increased weapon size? If your server is stable and seems to be working fine, I’ll probably just go ahead and officially release it as gserver version 2.5.0.
I’m not keen to pester urza as of yet, poor ruza. So I haven’t had the chance…
