all scripts and kinks in the system will be cleaned up once the dungeon levels and interiors for the town are linked, and finished. then we will be working on enemies so you can finally walk around, fight stuff, talk to npcs etc. i have all these suggestions now. and i appreciate the input. :)[COLOR=“Silver”]

I will be working on the temple extensively this week along with all interiors of the town, and begin lining up quest lines and other fun stuff. thank you all who have been following, and helping on the side. :slight_smile:

True but I thought tile definitons with no defined prefix carry over onto other servers. Happened on a few servers I’ve been on

Also, it’s true, prefixes are probably important for your levels so you can pinpoint the levels so your tiles don’t carry to other servers.

this is the the legend for the dungeon i am designing. As you can see it will be a vast dungeon for you to explore. I wanted to add more roguelike aspects, so you can spend time farming, collecting materials etc. as well as explore deeper parts of it. I want replay value for dungeons, so people can return for certain items they can only get there. This way, dungeons can have a more entertaining value, and can be gathered after you long passed beat them.

There is also hopes for return with certain items to go over certain obstacles. for instance, in this dungeon, to get to certain chests, you will have to return much later with say a hammer, or a hookshot type thing. :slight_smile:

Just thought id give everyone an insight into it. These will also have their own maps, so you can see where you are, or who is near you, or in the same dungeon.

Also, Famine has been working extremely hard on music (no, he did not make the music playing now, that is temporary). you will be getting a taste of his composing extremely soon. as well…the overworld music is meh.

EDIT: for those not sure what a rogue like is. Please refer to such games as diablo 1 and 2, cardinal quest, desktop dungeons, dungeons of dredmor, and many more. basically, it is the idea of scouring dungeons for materials, weapons, items, and searching for treasure and plunder, while beating down enemies for their materials and items as well. So i DO realize it is big. but it will not be nessasary to actually explore the whole thing. all you need to get is the big key, and some smaller keys. :slight_smile:

The main theme done by Famine. This might get tweaked, but you will see this in the main trailer for the game, or the “teaser” and it will be played in game for the ingame intro being developed in time.

Actually, i have someone waiting for me to finish my animations. As he is a VJ, creating such random works for the breakcore community. And the intro will more then likely will be an outsourced link to youtube, or some varied site. The intro is coming much later as well.

This is just a fun little hobby project, and all the members of our team are having a lot of fun working on it. As well as, each full member working on this project, has a particular passion for each area of expertise.

If you listen to Famines music (which is godly in my opinion, i may be a bit biased since hes a close friend), you can hear the amount of detail and love that goes into his work.

The same will go for my video production friend, As he enjoys what he does.

I am sure we can come up with something :slight_smile:
